We have come here for years during every trip to OCMD, and this is the first time I have had a terrible experience -- staff refuse to wear masks properly. The hostess and wait staff had them around their chins the entire time, even taking our order and serving food to other tables. We stayed for one drink and left because of this. Try keeping your patrons safe.

Some wait staff at the Tiki Bar need to learn how to properly wear a mask. Observed a waitress (auburn/reddish hair) carrying a tray with multiple drinks on it with her mask pulled down under her chin. No way would I have accepted a drink served from her. Also no social distancing practiced at the bar.
MoreWe have been coming here for many years. We enjoy afternoons for appetizers, drinks and live music. We love to sit by the dock and enjoy the view. When the sun goes down, we come back for awesome seafood dinner and classic beach restaurant decor. If you are in the area, make sure you stop here.
MoreYou know, some of you people need to realize something. In this day and age of the pandemic places like Harpoon Hannah's are doing their very best to service everyone. If you want, the best thing to do is call ahead and find out the procedures. This ensures that you will have an understanding and good experience. That's what we did yesterday and our service and food could not have been more pleasant. They were upfront with everything about waiting and masks. They gave us a 40 minute wait time and we were seated in 30 mins. The wait staff was masked properly and the food was excellent as always. Harpoon Hannah's was professional in these strange times. Please be patient, be kind, and TIP your servers!
MoreFood took a really long time to arrive, some of it wasn't that great. I personally liked my meal but we waited almost 2 hours for it to come.
MoreI've been to Harpoon Hanna's a few times in the last couple of years and my experiences have always been great. Tonight was different. We waited 45 minutes to be sat, which was expected, but once sat at our table, we were sitting for over 20 minutes before our waiter approached us. I got up to ask four times for someone to get our drink order. Our waiter Zach was awesome once we got someone to acknowledge us. The apps were good but dinner was not. All staff had their mask below their chin, and when we asked our waiter to put his mask up it didn't help. We saw all kitchen staff with no mask as well. No precautions taken. I will never be back.
MoreWaited 20 minutes to get inside.. we were in wrong line. We came for dinner .we had to wait another 20 minutes to get in dining room. We were seated wait another 20 minutes for waitress.to our drink order.we order dinner 25 minutes later she come back , to tell us thereโs no prime rib.I had pick something quick So my family could get there dinner. After all that dinner comes it just warm, very disappointed donโt know if Iโll go back.
MorePut our name on the waiting list for dinner. We were seated at the Tiki bar which had a limited menu but were not told this so we were moved inside. Our drink order was taken and then dinner order was taken. Then we waited 1-1/2 hours for our food. Nothing was hot; ordered carrots and got sloppy, mushy mixed vegetables. Seafood would have been good if it was hot. Will not return. Waitress was terrible; not attentive at all!

MorePaid over $90 for 2 steaks for them to to cooked wrong and to have no flavor! Highly disappointed, the only thing that made it better was Pistachio the cat came to visit us and then got the rest of the steak we couldn't bare to finish. Will come back but will NEVER get the steak again.

MoreThe food has always been good here and we've never had a problem but we've never ordered carry out before and it was definitely a different experience. We ordered food for 12 people so we spent a good amount of money and the portions were almost 1/2 the size and they still charge the same price. We ordered a few salads and all were overpriced and they forgot to add chicken but we paid for it. Carry out should be the same as dining in and if not, charge less, change the menu, tell people. Don't try to rip people off. We called to address our concerns and get some reimbursement because I gave a very generous tip because I know times are hard and was told carry out is closed so we can't help you. Unacceptable. The response should have been, I am so sorry about all of this, let me take down your information and I'll get you to the manager and we will figure this out. I was very disappointed and we will not be reordering from here.
MoreOur family's favorite restaurant when spending time at the beach! This trip we had another delicious meal served by a most attentive and friendly waitress, Chloe. Not only was she attentive to our table; she was hustling between her tables and always had a smile on her face. The boom boom shrimp never disappoints! Highly recommend!

Harpoon Hannahโs is one of my favorite restaurants. I have a rental unit nearby and recommend this spot to all my guest. The food is excellent with a beautiful ambiance. They are very busy at dinner time so wait times can easily exceed an hour. Plan accordingly itโs worth the wait.

More(8/5/2020) After waiting almost an hour and a half to be seated, we were sitting outside observing the amount of staff and customers not wearing masks correctly or at all. The seating inside is also not spaced out enough to comply with social distancing rules. After going up to the manager twice mentioning our concern for his employees not wearing their masks, he told us that if we donโt feel safe here then โmaybe weโre not the place for youโ. Our waiter, Graham, was fantastic and wore his mask correctly the entire time. Itโs unfortunate because the food was very good, but we will not be returning due to the poor compliance to CDC guidelines and horrible customer service.

MoreFoid was good. Overpriced. Service was lousy. Our pager didn't work and they did nothing to find us after 50 mon we checked in and told is the pager broke. They don't give you their signature coconut muffins unless you know enough to ask.
MoreEvery aspect of my experience was negative. We ordered online and arrived for the estimated time. The hostess was not friendly or helpful. I had to point to my online order that was sitting with numerous orders and I grabbed them myself. When I got back to my hotel, it was cold and disappointing. The lobster and scallops we ordered were tough and everything was tasteless. We werenโt given any silverware, butter or sauces. Our side salads were not what we ordered. Also, it says online that it was take out only but it was open. There was nothing positive to say for a meal that cost $80.

MoreFirst time at HH in a long time. They are seating 50% capacity, but two of us were seated in 10 minutes if you dont mind "first available" ( which still had a view of the dock). Waitress was nice and hard working. Appetizers came out fast, but my beer bottle could have been colder. Food was hot, excellent, and average price for the beach. We will be back!
MoreGreat experience. My family and I vacation here every year and Harpoon Hannaโs is always our first stop. We got there around 3pm and waited about 15 mins to be seated, didnโt mind the wait because they focused on spacing everyone out which I liked. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Loved the food especially the coconut shrimp! Will definitely keep up the tradition!!

MoreThe wait time was average for a Friday night. The food was good but, the service was awful. The girls working at the front were dancing around and being very obnoxious. I'm about their age so it didn't have anything to do with their age. I just felt that they were not being professional at all. We didn't even realize they had worked there until one of them had turned to tell us to have a good night. We were also new to this place and didn't know you couldn't order off the full menu while outside. We were not told this by the staff at the front. I was very disappointed to say the least. I hardly ever write negative reviews unless I feel that we had a very bad experience.
MoreVery disappointed. 13 people in our group. Extremely inattentive waitress, cold food, long wait times for food. Drink order was taken and there was a large delay before taking appetizer orders. From the point we sat down to the time we received our dinners was over an hour and 15 minutes. Very little contact with our waitress. At one point we had to clear our own dirty glasses from our tables to make room. Thankfully the kids were distracted by the water and didn't notice the insane wait to get our food. Once food did come half of it was cold and some simple food requests were simply not met. At the conclusion, when it would be customary to order coffee and dessert, the waitress arrived with our check (and we were planning on ordering both). She was uninterested in our satisfaction and we will not not return. Very disappointing experience.

MoreSeveral severs not properly wearing masks; saw staff in kitchen not wearing masks at all. Went at slow time around 3pm, restaurant mostly empty but service crazy slow. Polite waitstaff but between lack of safety and slow service we will not return.

MoreAbsolute worst service ever.. we had 12 parents /children/Grandparents and bartender/ and manager inside was the rudest person ever. She didnt realize I guess we were easily going to drop 900 to 1000 that night.. anyway her rudeness saved us some money.. awesome meal at bjs.. oh.. and we never complain.. easiest group ever but we will not be disrespected.
MoreWe (and our friends who visit O.C. area) always enjoyed your good food here, wish they could expand the docking for boat parking sometimes in the future...for those who complained about the long wait, don't forget the COVID -19 environment. We are lucky to have some restaurants provide dine in seating (with social distancing/mask mandate) many still only offer take-out, and many smaller business still struggle to stay open, or not open at all. Many businesses have trouble hiring workers... ...so enjoy the summer while it is still here, and adapt.
MoreI ordered the chicken imperial and it was very dry and I did not enjoy it at all... I donโt think the cooks even seasoned the food. The service and theme of the restaurant were nice though.

MoreThe food here was pretty good and the service wasnโt bad! I saw maybe 4 workers wearing their masks correctly and our servers mask was below his nose almost all two hours we were there, along with multiple other workers who were walking around the restaurant and serving.
